Pearl Ford Dies At Hospital Here

Mrs. Pearl Ford, 77, widow of Eugene Ford, died Thursday morning in Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health five years.

Born Feb. 2, 1880, in Putnam County [Indiana], Mrs. Ford was the daughter of Joe and Sarah Bledsoe.

Survivors include two nephews, twin brothers Lee Newgent of Wilmington, N.C., and Larry Newgent of Evansville, and a niece, Mrs. Marguerite Wiatt of Plainfield.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with burial at Roachdale. Rev. Edward Busch of the Crawfordsville Lutheran Church will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
